A striking American Art Deco waterfall buffet sideboard dating from the late 1930s to early 1940s.
This exceptional piece anchors a room with its dramatic, architectural use of book-matched and diamond-patterned walnut veneers.
The flanking side cabinets showcase crisp geometric wood grain alignment, contrasted by beautifully figured burled walnut drawer fronts down the center column.
Linear inlaid blonde wood banding decorates the face, accentuating the streamlined machine-age design. The buffet stands on elegant spade-foot legs with contrasting dark-capped bases and retains its signature curved "waterfall" rear backsplash lip.
It comes complete with its original, highly collectible two-tone brass and Bakelite horizontal wing hardware pulls.
Part of factory style suite NO-G-373, this sideboard offers massive storage capacity while doubling perfectly as a modern media console or statement entryway credenza.
Matching china cabinet, table, and set of 6 dining chairs are available separately in our shop to complete the full dining suite context.

Drawers slide smoothly, and cabinet doors fit securely. No lifting, bubbling, or missing veneer sections. Minor honest surface wear, light scuffs, or faint surface character marks consistent with age and careful historical use. Original two-tone hardware is fully intact and secure. less
