This matching pair of authentic "Bombo" adjustable swivel bar stools was designed by Stefano Giovannoni for the Italian manufacturer Magis. An icon of late 1990s modern design, these stools feature sculptural, injection-molded ABS plastic seats in a matte anthracite black finish. The ergonomically curved, low-back seats seamlessly transition down into a tapering column.
The seats are supported by a heavy-duty chrome-plated steel frame equipped with a pneumatic gas-lift mechanism, allowing the height to adjust smoothly via an integrated under-seat lever. A continuous circular steel footrest encircles the central column, balancing on a substantial dome-shaped polished base.

All stools are structurally stable and the internal pneumatic gas-lift levers function properly to adjust height. The matte black plastic seats are free of cracks, but show noticeable cosmetic wear from normal use. The chrome bases and footrests remain bright, displaying typical light scuffs and minor pitting consistent with age. Original "Magis" informational care stickers remain intact underneath the bases. less
