This fine table lamp was designed by the Danish artist, ceramicist and illustrator Bjørn Wiinblad. It was manufactured in Germany by Rosenthal Studio-Linie in the 1960s. Wiinblad created several high-quality objects for Rosenthal during that period.
The multicolored base is made from hand-colored glazed ceramic. The lamp features a shade which consists of an inner funnel-shaped white plastic reflector which carries the outer red fabric shade.
