Bill Mack’s Tranquility, dated 1996, is a limited-edition figurative sculpture depicting a reclining female nude resting on an elegantly draped chaise. The composition features finely modeled anatomical details, flowing fabric, and a gracefully curved, openwork frame.
The sculpture is finished in warm bronze and golden tones, contrasted by darker patination throughout the drapery and surrounding details. The reclining figure’s relaxed pose and expressive facial features give the composition a sense of quiet intimacy.
Signed Bill Mack, dated 1996, and numbered 21/150, identifying this example as number 21 from an edition of 150.
Presented on a black display base.
