The intention of this original painting is to bring a sense of well being to the viewer. This painting has many layers of visual calm. When something is fractal it calms our nervous system just to look at it. Ferns (represented to the lower left, image inspired from a fresco made in Italy in the 1400's) are plant life that first appeared on earth some 393 million years ago, 200 million years before the Dinosaurs appeared. These antique ferns have gone extinct, yet the modern ferns of today are still carry forward the fractal power in the sense that the fern frond is a macro version of the micro leaf. Clouds can be fractal and some believe the bible is also fractal (micro phrase to macro theme) How lovely to imagine and or feel that art can make us feel better, be a visual cure for our mind, body and soul.

The Hibiscus plant is formed and grows in a Fibonacci mathematical sequence, so the petals can reach more sunlight. The spiral formation relates closely to the golden ratio of 1.618. Therefore this painting full of clouds, ferns, raining and dripping water and one simple Hibiscus will certainly radiate tranquility. Bring it to your home and watch your life change.
