This mid-century modern coffee table blends a heavy, architectural presence with clean geometric lines. The base is crafted from thick, solid teak wood bars assembled in a striking, open-grid puzzle frame structure that shifts visually depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
Resting flush within the solid wood top border is its original thick pane of transparent smoked glass. The dark tint of the inset glass complements the warm, honey-colored wood tones while allowing full view of the intermeshed frame joinery below. Its compact rectangular footprint makes it highly versatile for apartment living or pairing with low-slung retro sofas.

The smoked glass insert is fully intact with no chips along the perimeter, though it displays typical, light hairline surface scratches across the top from normal daily use. There are no visible brand stamps or labels, but the construction and hardware orientation are typical of Scandinavian manufacturing from this period. less
