This beautifully crafted abacus is a striking example of traditional Chinese design. Unlike a standard rectangular abacus, this piece features a unique arched, fan-like silhouette, making it a true sculptural work of art. It is meticulously constructed with wooden beads sliding on rods, all set within a rich, dark wood frame.
The abacus rests on a custom-carved wooden stand featuring a central relief carving of a lotus flower and leaves, symbolizing purity and harmony. In Chinese culture, the abacus is a powerful Feng Shui symbol for wealth, wisdom, and business success. This piece is perfect for displaying on a desk, bookshelf, or entryway console to attract good fortune and add a touch of Chinoiserie elegance.
