Originally possibly intended for use in memorial gardens, these sculptural pieces would make striking decorative accents in a contemporary interior, whether displayed on a mantel, used as bookends, or incorporated into a curated collection.

The urns retain a time-softened dark patina that enhances their understated elegance and captures the refined geometry characteristic of the Art Deco movement. Strong vertical lines are balanced by decorative horizontal floral bands encircling both the upper and lower portions, creating a pleasing contrast between geometric structure and organic ornamentation.

Each urn is mounted on a wooden base constructed from two types of wood. The upper sections appear to be fir or cedar, while the lighter-colored lower sections may be maple. The lighter wood features a carved geometric design consistent with the Art Deco aesthetic. The metal urns are secured to their bases with nuts and bolts.

CONDITION
There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or dents. The metal interior shows wear, discoloration, and calcification. The dark outer surface has some spotting, discoloration and wear. They have a flange and may have once had lids. The lighter wood has some dark spotting where the nails stained the wood.

With their architectural silhouettes and period detailing, these distinctive urns offer timeless Art Deco character and sculptural appeal. See less
