The cabinet rests on a gently curved plinth base, with softly rounded drawer fronts and cabinet doors set within a striated frame. The carved border introduces an organic texture that allows this piece to work in harmony with the rattan and cane designs found throughout Frankl’s work.

A pair of cabinets with adjustable shelves flank a central column of four drawers. The upper drawer is divided for silverware storage and retains its original cork lining, another material frequently incorporated into Frankl’s furniture..

The ash has a particularly lively grain, ranging from long, straight figuring across the doors to broad cathedral patterns across the top and drawer fronts. A warm -toned finish brings out this variation while allowing the grain to remain prominent.

Overall in very good restored condition with few remaining signs of prior use. The cabinet doors, catches, and drawers all operate smoothly. See less
