Two gorgeous Balinese Indonesian religious/folk art pieces, made of light Suar wood. A rare find, especially in a pair. They complement each other in the angle of their gaze… essentially siblings, meant to double-team protect a home from evil spirits with their intimidating fiery gaze.
Age is unknown; either vintage or antique is up for interpretation, but a good guess is that these are early 20th century.
Each is approximately 18 x 18 x 8“
They each have a small nicely concealed compartment on top to put talismans, gems/minerals, herbs, or what have you.
They will be carefully packaged and sent to US destinations only, although if an international shipping situation is required, we can figure out commensurate charges.
Thank you for looking!i
