The design is particularly striking, featuring a distinctive front: each of the six spacious drawers is adorned with two finely crafted recessed handles on either side. As a particularly elegant detail, the outer edges of the frame are slightly darker, giving the piece a beautiful frame and visual depth. A maker's mark on the back of the chest confirms its manufacture by Kværndrup Møbelfabrik, while a sticker inside one of the drawers indicates the use of Swedish wood – a testament to the early, regional collaborations among Scandinavian manufacturers. We have thoroughly restored, cleaned, and meticulously cared for this chest of drawers. Despite the restoration, it retains visible signs of wear, lending it an honest and beautiful patina that stylishly reflects its history over the past decades. All drawers operate smoothly and flawlessly.
