A striking mid-century "Miroir Soleil" wall mirror, expertly handcrafted in Spain during the 1960s. This theatrical Hollywood Regency piece features layered, multi-dimensional radiating rows of hand-worked gilt-metal leaves. The circular mirror plate is neatly framed by a distinctive twisted metal rope-pattern border.
Reflecting high-quality artisanal construction typical of Spanish workshops of the era, the backing panel is fully lined and finished with a trimmed sheet of decorative patterned wallpaper. The mirror possesses a highly sought-after, deep bronzed-gold patina across the iron frame. The piece remains in good vintage condition, retaining its original mirror glass which shows a minor age spot in one place only near the frame edge, complementing its historical narrative. A perfect statement piece for eclectic, vintage, mid-century or contemporary interiors. This piece has an attribution mark,
