The table features gently curved sides, giving it a distinctive, slightly trapezoidal shape. Grete Jalk was one of the few highly esteemed women of the Danish Mid-Century Design movement and is known worldwide for her beautifully designed and thoughtfully crafted pieces. Her masterful touch is evident in every detail of this table: The main tabletop fits elegantly over the integrated extensions like a perfectly fitted lid. When closed, the extensions remain completely invisible, lending the piece a clean, harmonious line. When needed, the two extensions on either side can be effortlessly pulled out to create ample space for entertaining in an instant. The teak wood impresses with its exceptionally warm and expressive grain, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere for everyday use. The dining table has been completely restored and meticulously refurbished by us: The tabletop has been professionally sanded and refinished, giving it a new, velvety sheen. The table is in excellent, fully functional vintage condition.
