A colorful scandinavian modernist landscape with mountains, fields and autumn trees.

the composition opens across rolling fields toward a dramatic line of dark blue and green mountains beneath a broad, expressive sky. Bright yellow trees and warmer orange foliage punctuate the landscape, beautifully contrasting with the deep mountain silhouettes and large passages of olive green, violet-brown and soft blue.

presented in its substantial period wooden frame. The painting itself remains in very good vintage condition. The frame shows normal age-related wear, and the woven fabric section between the wooden frame elements appears to have been painted at some point in its history.
