An exceptional 19th-century french chateau giltwood pier mirror (circa 1870), distinguished by its elegant, slim proportions.
the frame is finely decorated with etched floral motifs and surmounted by an elaborate, pierced foliage crest at the centre, exemplifying classic french craftsmanship of the napoleon iii era. The mirror retains its original glass plate, which displays a beautifully subtle, authentic foxing that enhances its antique character.
this piece retains its original gilding, glass and original backboards. It is offered in home-ready condition, perfectly combining historic charm with structural integrity. A striking statement piece ideal for a hallway, living room, or bedroom. Fitted with wall brackets and ready to place at home. C1870
