Pair of italian wall sconces dating from the 1950s, featuring a refined mid-century modern design with a clean horizontal composition.
each applique is built around a round brass wall plate and a slender brass arm supporting an opaline glass diffuser. The glass has a distinctive rounded form with an elongated upper neck, combined with black lacquered metal details and small brass accents. The contrast between aged brass, black metal and satin white glass gives the lamps a strong vintage italian character.
the opaline glass diffusers provide a soft and even light, while the simple geometry makes these wall lamps suitable for both period and contemporary interiors.
the brass surfaces show natural patina, oxidation and tonal variations consistent with age. The black lacquered elements and glass diffusers show light signs of vintage use. Overall in good vintage condition
