A classic early 20th-century vintage miniature reproduction print of George Stubbs’ famous 1770 masterpiece, "Eclipse", a Dark Chestnut Racehorse Held by a Groom, with a Jockey. The scene captures the legendary undefeated British Thoroughbred horse positioned outside the Rubbing Down House at Newmarket.
This piece features a striking high-quality presentation: housed in a polished, deep burl wood veneer square frame with an integrated gold-leaf/gilt oval window mount that perfectly showcases the artwork. Petite proportions make it an excellent choice for a gallery wall, accenting a traditional library bookshelf, or styling a tabletop easel.
