A handmade Turkish brass armor display set featuring a domed helmet with chainmail-style detailing and a coordinating round shield on a pedestal stand. Unlike the previous example with more linear fluting, this version showcases a richly ornamented shield with raised floral and arabesque-inspired relief motifs radiating from a central rosette boss.
The surface appears to feature embossed / repoussé-style brass work, enhanced by hand-worked relief decoration and subtle textured detailing that gives the piece added depth and dimension. The helmet echoes the same decorative language with scrolling ornament, geometric banding, and an aged brass finish. The overall presentation is highly sculptural and decorative, making it a strong statement piece for an office, study, library, or eclectic interior.
