Wall-mounted floating console with wooden drawer and black metal frame. Shelves are covered with white Vitrolite glass panels. Fair original condition. Paul McCobb (1917-1969) was an American furniture and industrial designer who gained prominence in the mid-20th century. McCobb's career took off in the 1950s when he gained recognition for his furniture designs, particularly for his streamlined and practical approach. His designs often featured sleek, minimalist forms, and he was adept at working with various materials, including wood, metal, and upholstery.
