This is an ornate cast bronze candelabra in the form of a standing deer, featuring extensive gold inlay (gilt bronze) decoration. The deer stands on four slender legs with its head raised high, supporting a branching structure that holds multiple flower-shaped candle cups. The body is densely decorated with gold inlay, including intricate scrollwork, geometric patterns, and a column of inscribed characters running down the neck and chest. The bronze exhibits a deep, aged patina with extensive green oxidation and reddish-brown tones, characteristic of antique metalwork.
