This is a cast bronze rectangular vessel, featuring a sturdy form with two upright loop handles and four cylindrical legs. The exterior is heavily decorated with raised, archaic-style motifs, including prominent stylized animal masks (Taotie) with distinct eyes and horns, framed by intricate scrolling lines and geometric patterns. The surface exhibits a rich, aged patina with extensive green oxidation, earthy brown tones, and areas of reddish rust, characteristic of aged metalwork. The interior of the vessel is undecorated but shows similar oxidation. Cast characters or markings are visible on the inner base of the vessel.
