An exceptional complete set of 8 antique 1920's Italian dining chairs in the refined Queen Anne style. Crafted from rich solid walnut, these frames feature a classic silhouette distinguished by elegant, graceful hand carved cabriole legs, pad feet and a highly refined vase shaped backrest splat with open cutouts.
True to authentic early 20th century Italian artisan craftsmanship, these frames are built entirely with traditional joinery- featuring no numbers, metal brackets or visible screws. their authenticity is verified by a crisp "made in Italy" brand burned directly into the bottom of several of the frames.
The chairs are designed with later wrap around upholstered seats finished with nailhead trim (rather than drop in), giving them a substantial tailored presence perfect for a high end interior.
