A marvel of space-saving historical utility, this charming vintage Queen Anne style flip-top table transitions seamlessly from an elegant wall console to an expansive square games table. Masterfully crafted from richly grained mahogany with a warm amber finish, the table features a beautifully shaped, serpentine-eared top that unfurls on robust brass flush hinges. The mahogany finish displays a lovely warmth and luster throughout, with minor surface nicks and scuffs to the wood. Notably, there is a patch of finish wear and superficial scuffing on the upper curve of the front right cabriole leg (see second to last photo), and a slight, typical gap between the two leaves along the central seam when the top is flipped fully open (see last photo). The swing-leg support mechanism operates smoothly, the center drawer pulls cleanly, and all four pad feet remain structurally stable and tightly jointed. less
