Rich wood tones, graceful curves, and intricate details give this vintage Henredon chest an elegant presence. Its serpentine front is complemented by carved corner fretwork, ornate brass-tone bail pulls, decorative escutcheons, and shaped bracket feet.
A particularly charming detail is the ornate brass-tone hardware, featuring stylized pineapple motifs framed by graceful scrollwork. Long associated with welcome and hospitality, the pineapple adds a thoughtful decorative touch—making this chest especially inviting in an entryway, guest bedroom, or living room.
The beautifully grained top features a contrasting wood border that follows the chest’s curved outline. Five drawers—two smaller upper drawers above three full-width drawers—provide generous storage, with interior dividers in select drawers for organizing everyday essentials.
At 44 inches wide, this versatile piece works beautifully as a bedroom dresser, an entryway statement piece beneath a mirror, or sophisticated living-room storage topped with a lamp and favorite objects. Its Georgian and Chippendale-inspired details suit traditional interiors while bringing warmth and character to a collected, eclectic home.
Retains its Henredon maker’s label.
