This atmospheric composition captures the extraordinary contrast between fire and water, with sweeping clouds of smoke, brilliant orange and golden flames, and a striking expanse of turquoise-blue water. Dark trees and richly layered vegetation frame the scene, while small details in the foreground invite a closer look.

Seneres brings expressive color and movement to this powerful landscape, creating a work that feels both wild and contemplative. The warm wood frame complements the painting’s earthy tones and enhances its rustic yet sophisticated character.
