This colorful composition features an abstracted feline figure emerging from layers of turquoise, violet, blue, and earthy tones. Bold brushwork, overlapping forms, and an almost dreamlike quality give the painting a playful yet intriguing presence.

Seneres studied at Cooper Union and the School of Visual Arts in New York before establishing his artistic career in California and later Portland, Oregon. His paintings frequently explored animals, nature, and imaginative, symbolic imagery.

Acquired from the artist’s estate sale conducted by Alta Estate Sales in July 2026, this original work offers a wonderful opportunity to collect a painting by a distinctive Pacific Northwest artist.

The painting is presented in a complementary frame and would be equally at home in an eclectic gallery wall, contemporary living room, creative studio, or thoughtfully collected interior.
