Original antique lamp made from a solid wooden hub of an old rickshaw wheel, probably from a farm wagon or cart. The body of the lamp is made of the original turned wooden center of the wheel with preserved spoke holes and iron hoops, which give the object a distinctive rustic and authentic character. The surface bears a natural patina, traces of age, cracks in the wood and rusting of metal parts. The lamp is complemented by a distinctive antique lampshade upholstered with cow bladder in combination with fine mohair, decorative porta and lower fringes. This is a very decorative solitaire suitable for a historical interior, castle environment, hunting salon, wine bar, restaurant, guesthouse or stylishly furnished country house. The lamp is fully functional. Due to the solid wooden body and iron hoops, it is very heavy.
