A representative piece of regional Breton furniture combines practical dimensions with exceptionally rich craftsmanship. The front is decorated with hand-carved plant, geometric and rosette ornaments. Distinctive elements are the spirally twisted side pillars, turned ornaments, openwork decorative fillings and a profiled upper cornice topped with a pair of turned extensions. The pink textile background impressively highlights the finely carved and turned details. In the lower part there is a spacious drawer with decorative fittings. The interior space behind the double doors is equipped with three practical shelves. The back wall and the inner sides of the doors are covered with pink textile with decorative piping. The oak wood has a pleasant warm patina and preserved distinctive pattern. The cabinet is in very good condition with natural signs of age and use. Thanks to its narrow proportions, it is also suitable for a hallway, study, bedroom or smaller space, where it will offer plenty of storage space without excessive demands on depth.
