The design combines a softly rounded oval diffuser in frosted glass with a low circular metal base. Across the satin surface runs an unusual etched spiral decoration that gradually develops into an organic composition of fluid lines and irregular textures.

When illuminated, the decoration interacts beautifully with the diffused light. Different areas of the etched surface catch the glow at varying depths, emphasizing the movement of the pattern and giving the lamp an atmospheric, almost landscape-like quality.
The restrained oval form allows the expressive treatment of the glass to become the central feature of the design. A low metal base with naturally developed warm patina provides a subtle contrast to the soft white diffuser.

The lamp is equally compelling when switched off, when the etched surface and sculptural form give it the presence of a small art glass object.

Excellent vintage condition. The glass is beautifully preserved. Light natural patina and age-related surface wear are present on the metal base. Original wiring and fully functional.
