The warm mahogany colour and restrained detailing give it a refined appearance that works equally well in a traditional bedroom, dressing room or a more contemporary interior.
The shield-shaped mirror is set within a shaped mahogany frame and retains a wide bevelled edge, which catches the light particularly well. It is supported between two elegant upright side supports with small turned roundels and brass adjustment knobs, allowing the mirror to be tilted to the preferred angle.
The uprights sweep down into shaped scroll supports joined by a shaped stretcher, while the whole piece stands on broad shaped feet. The combination of the curved lines, finely finished mahogany and bevelled glass is very characteristic of good Edwardian dressing furniture.
A stylish and very usable antique vanity mirror, ideal for a dressing table, bedroom or dressing room, with particularly pleasing proportions and a sophisticated simplicity that makes it easy to place in both period and modern interiors.

In good antique condition with age-related wear and marks consistent with its age and use. The mahogany has a warm established colour and the bevelled mirror plate presents well.
