This exceptional piece was commissioned and entirely custom-made in Italy during the 1970s. Fully original and in fabulous condition. The sofa features a spectacular architectural structure entirely crafted in richly grained wood, with impressive oversized armrests that beautifully frame the generous leather cushions. The warm cognac toned leather has developed a gorgeous natural patina over the decades, with beautiful shades and character that only authentic vintage leather can achieve. The clean geometric lines, monumental proportions and outstanding craftsmanship make this sofa incredibly elegant and highly decorative. Every detail, including the beautifully finished back, allows it to be placed in the center of a room and admired from every angle. The contrast between the warm cognac leather and the deeper brown wood creates a timeless combination that perfectly embodies the finest Italian design of the 1970s. Both the wood and the leather are beautifully preserved, making this piece as comfortable as it is visually striking.
