The piece represents the characteristic qualities of Danish Mid-Century Modern design, combining a minimalist form with high-quality craftsmanship and outstanding functionality. The sideboard is crafted from teak wood. Particular attention is drawn to the two side cabinets fitted with sliding tambour doors that retract neatly into the body of the piece. The central section features four spacious drawers with striking sculpted wooden handles. Rounded edges and slender tapered legs give the substantial piece a sense of visual lightness and elegant proportions. The sideboard offers generous storage space while maintaining a clean and harmonious form. The distinctive tambour doors and sculptural handles are among the most interesting details of the design.
The sideboard has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating and finished with high-quality oil, which protects the surface while enhancing the natural warm colour and distinctive grain of the teak. See less
