This large and heavy ceiling light features a striking, architectural spherical shape crafted from high-polished solid brass.
Its most defining feature is the ingenious mechanical design at the bottom: two overlapping, adjustable louvers that function like an aperture.
Using the distinctive, oversized solid brass thumb screws, the louvers can be adjusted continuously and individually.
This allows the user to seamlessly transition the fixture from a sleek, closed golden orb providing ambient light to a dramatic, wide-open downward spotlight.

True to its original mid-century configuration, the heavy fixture safely suspends from its dedicated steel/white support cord, while the matching power cable runs beautifully parallel to it.

A commanding and sophisticated statement piece perfect for a dining area, foyer, or living space.
