It was designed by Marcel … Read more This very stylish late 20th-century chandelier is made from Murano glass with a brass frame. It was designed by Marcel Barbier and manufactured by Veronese in Paris, circa 1975.
The brass fixture or the glass chandelier is holding 50 transparent and orange Venetian Murano crystal glass prisms arranged in five tiers.
Each Murano glass element is mouth-blown and handmade.
The tier at the top has the biggest glass elements. The tiers are getting smaller the closer you come to the bottom, which gives the chandelier a very elegant funnel form. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
