Crafted primarily from sturdy, steam-bent rattan poles, the table features a square top inset with a tightly woven chevron or basketweave split-bamboo panel. Directly below the tabletop, a decorative open-work apron is accented with elegant, looping rattan peel arches that add a light, airy texture to the piece. The structural frame is defined by four out-swept, bentwood legs that bow outward before tapering to flared feet, all reinforced near the bottom by a matching square box stretcher. Bound tightly at the primary joints with traditional wrapped rattan peel bindings.
