This set perfectly exemplifies the rugged, handcrafted aesthetic of classic American rustic Arts & Crafts movement design. Confirmed by an authentic "Old Hickory Martinsville Indiana" brand stamp and model number pressed into the wood. Each armless dining chair features a distinctive, tightly hand-woven split-bark herringbone pattern backrest that delivers natural texture and supportive comfort. The upper back frame is flanked by sturdy vertical poles capped with traditional round finials, transitioning down to a thick, contoured solid wood saddle seat that highlights a warm, light honey-golden oak wood grain. The robust base is built with thick, splayed rustic legs reinforced by a continuous double H-stretcher wood assembly for exceptional durability.
