This set consists of two decorative cast iron sculptures representing nude female torsos inspired by Greco-Roman statuary and the classical figure of Venus/Aphrodite. The figures present an intentionally fragmented composition, without heads or arms, following the aesthetics of ancient archaeological fragments. The body is modeled in contrapposto, with a naturalistic treatment of the forms, each sculpture fixed on a quadrangular base of the same material. The surface has an expressive reddish-brown patina, formed by the natural oxidation of the iron. They present differences in tone, generalized oxidation, pitting, stains and superficial wear, characteristics that reinforce their rustic and decorative aspect. Stable bases. No signatures or manufacturer's marks were observed. Suitable for interior decoration, gardens, terraces, galleries or commercial spaces.

Number of pieces: 2. Theme: classical female torso / Venus. Material: cast iron. Style: neoclassical / Greco-Roman inspiration. Probable period: late 19th century.

Country of origin: undetermined European origin. Dimensions of each sculpture: 59 × 24 × 13 cm. Color: brown and rust. The surface retains a pronounced brown patina, with widespread oxidation. It shows wear, minor irregularities, and loss of finish consistent with age and exposure to the elements. See less
