Sculptural trivet designed by nicolas de waël for the french manufacturer fondica. Made of hammered gilded bronze, it features an openwork composition of vegetal and organic inspiration, formed by sinuous branches and stylized leaves or flowers. The faceted edges and irregular surface give it a simultaneously sculptural and functional character. The piece rests on three small integrated feet, protecting the table surface from direct contact with hot containers. Signed on the reverse “n. De waël” and marked “fondica france – ce”.
