Elegant figurative lampshade, probably of Spanish production from the mid-20th century, depicting a greyhound or hunting dog in motion over a landscape of vegetation modeled in relief. The sculpture and the vertical support, worked in the manner of bamboo, have a silver-plated metallic and patinated finish. The figure is mounted on an original oval base in framed wood, designed in the manner of an old travel box or hatbox, decorated with a wide black leather strap and metal buckle. It has an original or antique oval lampshade, covered in cream-colored fabric and finished with piping. The combination of hunting theme, wood, leather and metal gives it an elegant aesthetic, close to the Country House style and equestrian decoration of the mid-20th century.
