Pair of French hand-forged iron wall sconces dating to circa 1890. Each sconce features an interesting twisted stem and a distinctive traditional form, complemented by imitation wax-dripped candle socket covers. The sconces have been rewired for standard bulb use while retaining their antique character.
The dark iron construction and warm cream-colored candle covers make this pair a versatile lighting accent for Country French, French Provincial, or rustic European interiors. Ideal for flanking a mirror, illuminating a hallway or entryway, or adding character to a dining room, bedroom, or living space.
