The original chain is present, composed of repeating gold‑tone links, each centered with a faceted blue stone that echoes the dramatic pendant. Six matching radial discs accompany the necklace, reflecting Kirk’s bold, theatrical design language from the 1970s–1980s and Kirk's signature use of faceted glass for bold visual impact. The necklace is unsigned but attributed to Kirk through design language and other similarly attributed examples.

All stones—blue and clear—are intact, bright, and secure in their settings, with no darkening or replacements noted. The gilt finish shows no noticeable surface wear, and the structure remains sound throughout. The set presents beautifully, with crisp detailing and strong symmetry across the sunburst forms. A striking and collectible example of Alexis Kirk’s statement‑scale work, offered in excellent vintage condition.
