Each chair showcases an intricately shaped upholstered backrest with decorative carved flourishes, scrolling accents, and rich dark wood framing highlighted with aged gold finishes.

The seats and backs are upholstered in a textured taupe-beige fabric that complements the dramatic Old World character of the frames.

The matching stool features coordinating upholstery, carved wooden framing, gilt accents, and elegant curved legs.

A particularly interesting historical detail: One chair retains an upholstery label from Golden State Upholstery in San Diego dated July 18, 1967, documenting renovation or reupholstery at that time. The original manufacture date is unknown, and the chairs may predate this upholstery work.
