Authentic 1970s mid-century modern solid brass family sculpture by Gatco. This beautifully stylized artwork depicts a mother, father, and child wrapped in a fluid, abstract embrace. It features a brilliant, high-polished brass finish and is securely mounted on a heavy, solid grey-veined white marble pedestal base.
The underside retains its original green foil manufacturer sticker reading: "Gatco Solid Brass - Made in Taiwan," verifying its vintage authenticity. A perfect statement piece for Hollywood Regency, Brutalist, or MCM decor.
Condition: Very Good
The brass shows a beautiful warm patina with a gorgeous luster and very minor surface wear/faint scuffs consistent with age. The heavy marble base is structurally solid with no structural cracks or chips, though it does exhibit some light surface scratches around the perimeter from decades of handling.
