Lothar Klute – Exceptional Pair of Nesting / Side Tables, 1982

This exceptional pair of tables was designed and produced by Lothar Klute in 1982, dating from the early period of his career. Their most distinctive feature is their unusual geometric form, offering a remarkable variety of possible arrangements and uses.

The tables can be used together as nesting tables or individually as coffee, side, or corner tables. Their triangular form allows them to be arranged in numerous configurations, creating a dynamic sculptural composition.

A particular highlight is the unique cast glass. Characteristic streaks, glass threads and subtle inclusions within the glass create an almost organic appearance, making each tabletop entirely individual. The glass is paired with an archaic, forged iron structure, creating a striking contrast between the raw, powerful character of the metal and the delicate, flowing qualities of the glass.

The combination of exceptional materials and highly skilled craftsmanship in both glassmaking and forged ironwork is what makes these tables particularly remarkable. Each table is an individual work of craftsmanship and a sculptural piece in its own right.

The tables are in perfect condition.
