The piece deliberately preserves the natural, irregular contours of the tree trunk, leaving visible the growth rings, knots, hollows, and variations inherent to the wood. These natural elements become the design's primary expressive resource, giving each angle a unique appearance.
The visual impact of the wooden volume contrasts with the three slender metal legs, creating a balanced composition between mass and lightness. This dialogue between organic and industrial materials was particularly characteristic of the experimental furniture developed during the 1960s and 1970s. Due to its material honesty, essential forms, and strong sculptural presence, the piece straddles the Brutalist and Organic styles of the period.

It is especially suitable as a side table, end table, or sculptural piece within a contemporary or eclectic interior. It is in good overall condition, with wear, signs of use, and patina consistent with its age. The structure is stable and well-preserved.
