The design centerpiece of this 1970s pendant light is its elongated, organically shaped icicle shade made of translucent plastic. The light source is concealed behind elegant metalwork in the upper part. As soon as the light is switched on, something magical happens: The textured surface refracts the light beam along the entire length of the icicle, creating an unparalleled, sparkling play of shadows and a magically warm ambiance. Such organic "icicle" designs were a sought-after stylistic element in Scandinavia during the 1970s, artfully blending the cold, Nordic nature with innovative plastic materials of the Space Age era. We have thoroughly cleaned, professionally rewired, and technically inspected this pendant lamp. The perfectly color-coordinated new textile cable underscores the premium overall impression, making the lamp technically state-of-the-art.
