This is a one of a kind, handmade socket, developed for an exposition. The top surface is approximately 28cm and strong enough to hold a (heavy) lamp, sculpture or planter.
It`s made completely out of mycelium composite with a wood ring underneath, for eventually attaching feet. The uniqueness of the shape is due to the fact that this was made by using flexible, one-off molding and shaping techniques.
Due to the nature of the material it`s only suitable for indoor conditions and damp conditions should be avoided.
