Rich floral decoration and harmonious colors create an impressive ensemble that will stand out in a spacious living room, salon or representative office. The dominant feature of the rug is a large central medallion in the shape of a stylized flower, made in pink and red shades with blue-green details. The light cream field around it is filled with delicately guided tendrils, unfolding flowers, leaves and palmettes. The symmetrical composition continues into the richly decorated corners, which with their indented outline significantly frame the central area. The decor is closed by a wide border with a flowing plant development and repeating floral motifs, complemented by narrower ornamental bands. The color palette connects old pink, raspberry red, beige and ivory with muted turquoise, green and brown accents. The light background allows the rich pattern to stand out well and gives the rug an airiness despite the abundance of details. The density of the weave reaches approximately 160,000 knots per m². The rug contains almost a million hand-tied knots in the entire area without fringes. The wool pile provides a pleasant surface, while the cotton warp forms a solid basis for the weave. The original French-written sales label has been preserved on the reverse side, guaranteeing hand-tiedness and the authenticity of the rug.
