Dark, warm brown grains extend across the generous front and rounded sides. Delicate decorative lines in light wood accentuate the contours of the top; the recessed black base provides a calm finish.

The round door handles with their finely inlaid Makassar ebony inlays are a characteristic feature. They echo the material of the front and complement the clean lines with a deliberately placed, circular detail. Thus, the handles are seamlessly integrated into the overall design.

Behind three doors is a light-colored interior with shelves and two drawers, including a cutlery drawer. A pull-out serving tray with a dark inlay provides additional surface space when needed. The low raised edge on the top completes the understated design.

The sideboard has been professionally restored, preserving its original finish. Its sheen brings out the depth of the wood grain. Fine crazing and remaining signs of age are part of this authentic surface and blend harmoniously into the expressive veneer pattern.

A generously sized, versatile Art Deco piece of furniture whose impact arises primarily from the interplay of wood, proportions, and meticulously executed details. See less
