This decor is one of the characteristic motifs inspired by Asian art, featuring stylized dragons, floral tendrils and small architecture in the spirit of oriental aesthetics. The body of the pot has a clean, modernist shaped profile with a typical more angular handle and a slender spout, which corresponds to 20th century production. The decor is made using a transfer printing technique in cobalt blue on a white background, which continues the tradition of the so-called "Delft blue" porcelain. Similar pieces from the Dragon model series were produced in Belgium in the 20th century and included complete table services - plates, cups and serving vessels. The marking on the underside "Boch Frères La Louvière - Made in Belgium - Dragon" confirms the origin and specific decor, which is sought after by collectors. The production of this manufactory is valued for its quality workmanship and interesting combination of European and oriental inspiration. The teapot has a very decorative effect, is fully functional and suitable for everyday use as well as for a collection of historical porcelain.
